Remove Gaza Blockade Now!
The Sirens Were Against A Neighbouring ‘Holocaust Nation’!
I found this very interesting to watch in Al Jazeera Television – A USA Democratic Congressman Brian Baird was saying on Gaza …. A lot of broken promises …it is a sad commentary – not only from us in The USA but also from other nations of the world … notably Israel. A second programme shows the people in Gaza were standing stoic attention as the sirens were blowing to commemorate one year of the ferocious vicious aggression attack against 1.5 million people living in blockade, misery, poverty, hunger dispossession, deficiency, scarcity and deprivation. And the biggest prison of the world where 1.5 million were trapped in.
The tragic sad ironical part did not miss me! The sirens were now being played against a Nation claiming to be victims of the Holocaust. The same ‘victim peoples’ were now behaving and acting the same as the Aggressor, Bully and Tormentor – if not worse off than their Nazi counterparts – and it just shows humanity at its weakest, ugliest evilness, depravity, dissolution, dissipation, decadence melancholy, and malaise – and any other words of doom and negativity you can find to add in!
It is a pathetic bloody heinous criminal offence and shame that this derelict dilapidated and unacceptable stalemate malaise and decadent situation is allowed to continue. In my own mindset, I put it like this. Let us hypothetically and imaginarily think that the situation was different – it was Gaza that was putting the pressures, the siege and the blockade against Israel – what do you think would have happened instead? The whole world – including those of our very own (which is the most hurtful, tragic and painful part of it all in the equation) would immediately join forces against The Aggressor. And their doing it against a Nation that had suffered ‘enough already under holocaust and from its own neighbours against it to live in security, peace, harmony (as human beings are entitled to!) – And within recognized borders – but the real truth is far from that – now.
My point is this. We all have heard of the story of the mouse who went around screaming that the farmer had bought a trap to catch it – but all his ‘friends’ it went to appeal to ignored its cries of laments and for help – it just is not our problem the friends said to it. Soon after the farmer ended slaughtering the ‘friends’ for food as a result – and especially when his wife had died after being bitten by a snake instead caught in the trap! We must also have heard of – Never trouble trouble till trouble troubles you! Or do not cast stones at a beehive – because the bees will come out and sting you – and bees cannot distinguish from who threw the stone in the first place or not! These stories are told to us again and again – but will we ever learn and listen?
What is happening in Gaza cannot be allowed to ever continue on – seeing it is crimes against humanity – a capital and public punishment of the biggest jail and prison in the world of 1.5 million people – majority of them women and children – living in this siege and blockade. So many killed and maimed – including infants and children especially! And women – the weak, forlorn, the old and the sick too! So many lives have been destroyed and with havoc, misery and devastation – that perhaps those that had died and were buried off were ‘more lucky’ than those living on now – especially those maimed, hurt and injured – and living in poverty, misery, hunger, thirst and deprivation.
The only peoples still living under colonization – and done by whom? By the same people that claim to be victims of the holocaust and anti-Semitism, (I thought Arabs were Semitic peoples too?). People with no food. Under collective punishment. No drinking water. No Medicines. Living in fear, worry and scare. Their lives ruined. Children growing up in fear, frustrations and depressions. Children terrified and afraid – psychologically impaired for the rest of their lives with bad results in schools – and dropping out of schools.
Families living in tents outside their destroyed homes in this cold winter. Fishermen cannot go out to fish in the limited 6-kilo metre freeze zone, despite the fact that the International line is I think – if not mistaken – of 20-kilo metres. If they try to venture out, they are shot at and their boats sunk – including them on board because ‘they are a security threat and danger’. Go and collect some scrap and even in your own borders, but now you are a threat and danger – and no warning shots but trigger happy to shoot and kill you – perhaps to get body parts in the process too.
How long can this be allowed to go on? Can these things be allowed to still happen in the 21st century? Who is writing this today? A so-called moderate Arab – a one who believed and preached for peace, harmony, and acceptance of the Jews. So long as they accept the Saudi initiated Peace Deal for them to be finally accepted in this part of the world within recognized borders and security in a Two Nation Formula and returning to the 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as also part of the New Palestinian State. But frankly, if you ask me now I am not too sure or convinced anymore – because I think the Israelis do not really want Peace – this part I am now fully confident and convinced on.
I was again watching Al Jazeera coverage of one year after the Gaza invasion – and this Political Analyst was saying (remembering he is a Professor and Jewish himself) that many Israelis still do consider themselves as ‘Europeans’ and not from this part of the world. From the same land as Arabs as First Cousins and Grand Children to the same Great Prophet Abraham – Ibrahim – Peace Be Upon Him. The poor man must be turning in his grave – to see the ‘killing cousins’ and ‘killing each other grandchildren’ instead!
By us continuing to be on the sidelines, docile and quiet, we are burning up our own homes and bringing in more dangers and harm, devastation and disasters to ourselves by trying to show that we are still moderate and compromising – but at what costs and harm? To ourselves – more than anybody else – it is like a cinder fire burning beneath slowly and we do not see it until it erupts!
People are tired to remain quiet and on the sidelines seeing all these things happening now – and it only raises dangers of more radicalisation, extremism, fundamentalism – and for causing more harm and dangers. And our unwitting easily following and easily led young used by others as tools for their own wars – and spoiling and harming the image, name, reputation of Arabs and of our Great Religion in default and inadvertently.
We must give it a deadline for The Peace Offer – or it should be withdrawn – and let whatever comes next let it come to pass. That should also involve a rescind of all peace agreements made – and after reiterating for the whole world to see that the Arabs had tried and had extended the hand for friendship, peace and harmony.
WE MUST ALL ACT NOW – BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE FOR EVERYONE IN THE REGION AND THE WORLD. THE BLOCKADE AND SIEGE MUST END – IMMEDIATELY NOW!
Take Care!
