In line with KnowledgeOman.com’s mission of connecting communities with knowledge, the support of Webpreneur University spreads education and knowledge in the Sultanate of how the use of ICT can further move forward the development process in society and success of entrepreneurs.
The Webpreneur University training attracts successful people and creative minds, business teachers, artists, photographers, entrepreneurs, business owners, business starters and professionals from any field who represent their own brand. The training provides an overview of the many ways that the Internet can generate an income for a business and how the Internet can direct a business to a knowledge-based level as well as the use of social media in building a brand.

Established in April 2008 by Tariq Hilal al Barwani, KnowledgeOman.com has set its foundations based on the mission of creating a knowledge-based society and empowering the community through volunteer work. Since its establishment, KnowledgeOman.com has successfully ventured in online and offline initiatives, with OmanVideos.com, OmanWall.com, community seminars, community talks and talent-driven events.
KnowledgeOman.com received an award winning status, collaborated with various organisations, rolled out community learning projects, and continued to enrich its knowledge sharing platform that now has over 8,000 members reaching both the English and Arabic speaking community.
